chocobo racing needs a revamp.

YEAH!! Chocobo Racing is really fun, but with only three tracks and the fact that the vast majority of races are against NPCs, it does start to feel kind of pointless. It would be great if they could restructure it somewhat, add new tracks and features, and add some incentives to make it more enticing for players to regularly dive into.

Look at how they revamped PvP, with season reward tracks and the new Crystal Conflict mode. Can we find some kind of equivalent for Chocobo Racing? I'm not sure what the "Crystal Conflict" of Chocobo Racing would be -- maybe a game mode where all our birds' stats/ranks are restricted to a set level so everyone's on an even playing field? Or some kind of "Battle Royale" PvP arena on chocobos?

Also, I know they have the "Make it Rain" event once in a while, but between those they could have a few Racing-specific bonus weekends to draw in players to that activity specifically. Or heck, make it a valid activity for those "Irregular Tomestones" events too!

A daily Chocobo Racing roulette couldn't hurt, either.

i honestly think chocobo racing should get a revamp, its pretty fun to play. also when we getting the gleaner outfits as a reward?

I suppose it could use a tweak or two but it is very low priority. Imagine losing battle content due to chocobo racing tweaks. Actually that would probably provide a lot of good forum posts I could read. Yes SE I demand we immediately get a chocobo racing revamp.

Doesn't need a revamp, just an alternative arcade mode without all the chocobo breeding. That'd actually get people playing and wanting more maps/rewards for it, might even make them consider messing with the breeding system for an even better racer once they've had a taste of an actually decent racing chocobo.
