What if Chocobo Companion was Replaced with a Trust System?

I'd love to see more companions than the chocobo that we can "equip." I don't know about making them full-on trusts, but having a Moogle Companion and a Qiqirn Companion and a Cactaur Companion all could be fun in their own way. Kind of like open world trusts, but we'd need more stuff in the open world to really make them viable-- we don't particularly "need" even the chocobo companion as it is.

Could work for squadrons but for everything else it'd mean walking spoilers everywhere. Imagine leaving the starting city and you see story/side story npcs everywhere.

Maybe a "hide" feature or something so as to hide the spoiler trusts for individual players? :0

Unless they're invisible to all except for buffs on you're person to let others know your using them.., since i don't know how much usage they'd be each time they're called out.<interesting idea.., though the question I have, like I said.., is how this will affect things server wise.>
by which I mean they could end up being Glorified DoTs/HoTs like Esteem.

I'm honestly not sure. I just assume they'd function like our Chocobo companion, though upgraded. :/

I'd be for this. I could go do a dungeon with Sadu and if we are down there for 30 minutes and then you start hearing me scream bloody murder as it echoes down the cavern...you can just walk away and not ask questions cause you might be next!

I can imagine going to the Aurum Vale with Sadu and she just runs ahead of me, cackling like a maniac while blowing up everything in her way. xD

maybe use squadron members as companion NPCs. Not Trusts.

Though I wouldn't mind an expansion on the Chocobo adding more to it so it can start doing things like spamming choco meteors like the fate boss in bozja... >.>

Also mass petition to allow BLU into Bozja/Eureka just so we can spam choco meteor on that little SOB... <.<

Honestly I would love if they would do more with our chocobo first. Maybe update it because mine likes to barely heal me than dance on my corpse...If we do get other NPCs outside of dungeons though, then I also want to take my chocobo with me in unsynch dungeons too. Just to make it fair.

Idk... Mine most of the time feels like it's played by a 4year old child that's been sat in front of a panel full of buttons... It tends to spam every skill it has lol.
