Imagine thinking that the pertinent info was randomly in those 14 hours...and not yknow in the LL...which was covered in a bunch of sources. No reason this player base is garbage at the game, they don't read

I don't want to say "self burn" considering that you're also a part of the ff game community, but... sorry you burned yourself?
Like you had every opportunity to prove that anything associated with gilgamesh, be it ff lore, FATE lore, or you on that server, aren't rude and chronically unhelpful with the task at hand, but you decided that nah, today was the day to just. add insult to injury on someone's long-worked for plans. at the worst you could have come in with reasonable feedback on how, you check sources x, y, and z and that might help for next time, though it's not a full solution.
But again, you didn't, because that would involve effort and goodwill, instead of "sources for this info: trust me bro"
In fact, it's hilarious that you're accusing the playerbase of not reading when your response to me was... oh right!
Like at least if you're going to be awful, bring a good counterpoint with, you know, the sources you claim you have.
I didn't read your whinging because I already knew it held no value. And look, I was right. Dismiss yourselfI don't want to say "self burn" considering that you're also a part of the ff game community, but... sorry you burned yourself?

I'm not a dev, I can't tell you when maint will or won't be but here's a few guidelines that may help you avoid similar situations in the future.
-All planned maint will start monday night and end tuesday morning.
-Almost all non-24 hour maint will be between 6pm pst and 3am pst. Its usually only 4 hours but it will fall in that window.
-Major patches and infrastructure maint will always be longer patches.
-Hotfix patches will usually happen 1-3 weeks after a major patch.
-Minor patches such as x.01, x.28, x.56 will happen 2-3 weeks after the main patch.
-Emergency maint can be any day of the week but will usually be within the same time window.
-The main x.1, x.2, x.3 etc patches will be roughly 16 weeks apart.
-The mid x.15, x.25, x.35 etc patches will be roughly 8 weeks after the previous main patch.
Again, there are exceptions to this but its a good rule of thumb to plan out your events with. The easiest way to avoid maint is to just avoid monday nights for events. Hopefully, things will go more smoothly for you next time.
Also, Firemage is a known bad troll. Ignore him, he's just saying things to get a reaction from you.
May Hydaelyn stand between you and harm in all the dark places you must walk.
