New Inn Quests not Flagging

[dev1001][dev1002] The following sidequests have been added:

Quest Title Client Location
The Usual Suspect - The Hourglass (Ul’dah)
In Plain Sight - The Roost (Gridania)
Private Eyes - The Mizzenmast Inn (Limsa Lominsa)
To trigger these quests, players must first obtain a Gauwyn the Gannet Wanted Notice from Otopa Pottopa, who can be found on the Merchant Strip (6,4) in Ul’dah. Otopa Pottopa will only give notices to those who have already completed each of the following three quests:

The Ink Thief (Limsa Lominsa), Waste Not Want Not (Gridania), Ring of Deceit (Ul’dah)

Once the item has been obtained, players will then need to log out from their own room at one of the aforementioned inns, and log back in after a certain amount of time has passed.
* Players who accidentally dispose of the wanted notice may obtain another by speaking again with Otopa Pottopa.
* The wanted notice is a quest item only used to trigger The Usual Suspects, In Plain Sight, and Private Eyes, and will not be used for any other purpose.
* Please note this quest will not trigger should the maximum number of quests already be underway, even when the necessary conditions are fulfilled.


Has anyone got these to pop after logging in??? or do you know the approximate amount of time you need to be logged out in order for it to flag?

I would like to know this as well. Seems others in my ls are getting it to happen but I havent yet and Im sure I was one of the first to get the item as others in ls were busy doing DH and primals while i was busting through the new content.

I have logged out in each inn for over 3hrs each time and never got the quest to happen.

I logged for 3 hours, didn't trigger Private Eyes. I know that I got Usual Suspects to trigger after being logged off overnight. That was about...12 hours, maybe?

It seems to be random—just like the nightmare.

Yeah I got it not after being off for the night, but after logging for an hour or so to do some other stuff the next morning. Others in my shell also have been off for random periods and had it trigger after logging in/out 2/3 times.

can you trigger all 3 of them or is it just one of the three?

so i got the one in uldah to flag and after you complete it the npc says the theif might be in the other cities as well. can anyone confirm or deny that they can flag more than one of them???

I finished all three without issue. I do believe you have to complete them in a specific order however. Otopo will indicate which one you need to do next, so therefore be sure to log off in the corresponding inn.

the quest does work i only logged out for about an hour but you have to do them in order as in:The Usual Suspect - The Hourglass (Ul’dah)
In Plain Sight - The Roost (Gridania)
Private Eyes - The Mizzenmast Inn (Limsa Lominsa)

Anyone got some kind of, bug?
When I log in in my inn, after character screen, it take a long time to load
I then force kill the client, the last screen I could see is my character on bed
