Unable to chat with FC/Linkshells during Crystalline Conflict

    Date & Time: 2022-10-26 5:53PM EDT
    Frequency: Always
    World name: Faerie
    Character name: Sarah Ravensmile
    Party or solo: Party
    In-game time: Always
Area and coordinates: Crystalline Conflict zone
    Steps:
    1. Join a Frontline match
    2. Attempt to use say/party chat (Enabled, working as intended)
    3. Attempt to use FC/Linkshell chat (Enabled, working as intended)
    4. Join a Crystalline Conflict match
    5. Attempt to use say/party chat (Disabled, working as intended)
    6. Attempt to use FC/Linkshell chat (Disabled, seems all unrelated chat doesn't work at all?)
    7. Finish match, leave instance
    8. Attempt to use FC/Linkshell chat (Enabled, working only after session is over)

The Say/Party chat being disabled works as intended but for some reason, as long as I am inside the Crystalline Conflict zone, all non-PvP chat functionality is also completely disabled.

I have to rush to say everything I want to say to friends before the instance pops because once I'm inside, I can't use /fc or /cwls# to respond to them. It's a weird setup, because in Frontlines I can use /fc and /cwls# as expected. For CC, I now have to reach out to them if they have an immediate question through means outside of the game.

Would it be possible to add a whitelist to the /fc and /cwls# chat commands while inside Crystalline Conflict since these commands do not affect the PvP communication?

I think it's always worked this way in the former version of it (The Feast). I don't know why, but I assumed it was just a limitation of how the chat control was designed. Preventing party chat and replacing it with quickchat.

In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."
