Just because you dont need to play those classes does not mean you dont need to access or have reason to use them. For those who use them as storage for hotbar builds it is an issue, as is storage and inventory management in general. This is a small change which does not unbalance gameplay in any way.

Radiant and Lunar Envoy gear both include the class and subclass btw so it isnt something outmoded or not currently considered.

You handle it the same way you do when you need to hand over the relic for upgrading while being on that job. Find a spare weapon or buy a starter one for temp use for like 100 gil.


All job gear is job exclusive and has never included classes. That's kind of the point of it. It's job specific. The other stuff isn't.
