    Pharos Sirius is in dire need of a rework

    With multiple ARR dungeons being reworked recently, I figured it was time to air my grievances with dungeon in particular. If you have never unlocked this dungeon, and never had the pleasure of being trapped in an instance wipe after wipe to the second boss "Zu," as I have on multiple occasions, I will now explain why exactly I hate it so.

    So here's a basic run down of how the fight is supposed to go: The boss, Zu, is a giant bird with a dozen or so eggs littered around the arena. You are meant to ignore these eggs until a message pops up saying "The egg is threatening to hatch" and 2-3 eggs glow purple. At this time only kill one of the eggs. Problem is, this never, ever happens. And people will begin killing eggs willy nilly. What they don't realize is that if you kill more than egg, the boss will immediately enrage and begin bodyslamming random party members dealing about 75% of their HP plus stunning them. This require specific special movement from the healer, praying, hoping you won't be the one chosen. Because if you are, ggs go next. Now here's the real kicker, should you have this misfortune of having the fairly popular Dancer class in your party, they cannot at any point in this fight use their dance--you know, their primary damaging ability and main aspect of their kit, because upon executing Standard Finish, will instantly kill 2-3 eggs with the splash damage, instantly enraging the boss. You see why this is an issue?

    This was a dungeon released in 2.1 and at no point do I expect random duty finder members to know any of this, which is why it's all the more frustrating when I keep getting it in my 50/60/70/80 dungeon roulette and wipe again, and again, and again because people either do not know or do not care to know the mechanics of an obscure ARR dungeon boss. So if you, dear reader, ever get Pharos Sirius: Leave. Just go. It's not worth the pain. Not until they fix it.

    A better solution to this is to ignore the eggs and focus down the boss while the tank AOEs and everyone stands in the AOE range so he grabs the adds that spawn. Unless you are SEVERELY under-geared, you should kill the boss shortly before the the fourth egg hatches.

    First boss is annoying too. Spawns about 30 adds and melts everyone with explosions. Contrast this with the weird third "boss" that dies in 10 seconds.

    Why this ended up being one of the only dungeons capable of reliably wiping overgeared parties is anyone's guess (Diabolos comes close though). Definitely don't remember it being this bad in the past.

    The issues with the 1st boss usually comes down to people just tunneling the boss and having no idea what his mechanics actually do, so they all ignore the adds, stay stacked together and kill each other with the debuff explosions.

    its an optional dungeon. one of the few with more mechanics than just a few aoes...i dont think we need another dungeon with a bunch of aoes as the only mechanic.... they should go lower with the ilvl synch though. 135 for every lvl 50 dungeon/raid is just nonsense

    The trash fight that is the third arena encounter is an arena encounter specifically so that the Shortcut updates a few steps away from the stairs to the last boss room. It would be a very long run back to the top otherwise.

    That boss is easy enough to cheese. Any overgeared party should be able to kill him before the second ultimate. And for those parties that can't kill him before then, the trick to the doors is that you only ever have to know one of the pairs, because the signs reappear whenever two doors are opened. So after you use up your first pair, you have an opportunity to mark a new pair.

    Even though every dungeon shortcut is already a long run back because they're placed after bosses instead of before them like in raids.

    Haukke Manor HM's final boss is awful. You can't go too ham on the dps because of how quickly the hp fall, having this situation where the add spawns and is immediately consumed without giving time to attack them.
    Being forced to restrain the dps a littlle is definitely awkward. Not the end of the world, mind you but it makes new players confused
