yeah, I think we have to give SE the benefit of the doubt. Despite us memeing companies making brain haired decisions, when it usually involves money, there HAS to be some actual reason for their doing soIt makes sense that the most valuable items are no longer giftable if people are literally having their credit cards stolen and used to buy them for x amount of people. There's a bigger picture here that kind of needs to be looked at. If there's a better solution then fair enough but this was probably the quickest way to find a fix while they work on a longterm solution. Sorry some people who wanted to steal people's information ruined it for everyone for now.
