    I do like the rampart Idea. Anytime you can squeez in a full party rampart is awsome sauce, but As you said, I am going to simply dodge all of CC's attacks, might as well go with WAR, and bring in DPS as at that point you no longer need a tank, more like a DD that can absorbe a good amount of damage. But as I have stated b4, The Risks out weigh the rewards, you can still attain a speed run with the saftey of a high def Tank and at the same time run none of the risks involved with avoiding attacks. But if you are soo confident in your ability to not get hit, then more power to you brother. I personally still perfer to know that my party's main tank will not die and wipe the party in the process. That, imo , is the tanks 1st and most important responsability. Keeping hate is a givin, you obviously need to keep hate inorder to tank, but I dont have any issues with enmity control. Soo long as everyone is spaming their hate dump abilities , should be good to go.

    Aye I forgot about that, 100 Tonze Swing can be totally avoided if you stand right on top of him while he's preparing the move, and for those who like to take it head on it's a cheap way to dodge it (though he doesn't fall on his ass) and you don't have to worry about being blindsided from behind in the process if you do eat it.

    Wait...I'm a bit confused. Is 100 Tonze Swing only frontal conal AoE? I've only recently begun tanking him.

    Swing is circular around him, Swipe is front conal.

    100 Tonze Swing is an AoE, but it's a ring type AoE like Eye of the Beholder. If you stand on top of CC the move will miss you completely, however the way the move is developed he only incapacitates himself falling on his ass when no players are within a certain radius instead of actually missing players.

    And as Char said 100 Tonze Swipe is a wide Front Cone AoE which can be avoided by standing right on or behind him. It's much more survivable, but unless you run through him the move is almost impossible to run from because it activates much faster than Swing.

    100 tonze Swipe should be avoided but you can eat it if need be but it will more than likely put you in the red. It's best to just run right behind him and run right back to avoid the damage. Again, with Swing I always prefer to make him fall down due to the options available.

    I've also noticed the radius of 100 tonze swipe is kind of weird. If you don't have CC positioned correctly and the other people in your party are not roughly behind him, a swipe might get through and wipe some party members. My general rule of thumb is that CC's back should be directly in the Line of Sight of the party. If his shoulder is in their line of sight they could potentially get hit.

    Regardless, I think CC is probably one of the hardest fights to tank in the game. If you can master CC you can pretty much tank anything else.

    The radius of 100 Tonze Swipe is ridiculously large for a Cone based AoE, a good comparison of the radius is to look at the letters O and C. Think of O as basically is the full 360 radius around CC, and C is the radius of 100 Tonze Swipe with the open part of the C being his back. Swipe roughly hits 300 out of the full 360 radius around him, so you have to be pretty much directly behind him to avoid it.
