Well, everything is in the title.

I started playing halfway through hadowbringer and I've mostly played WAR since the beginning and as much as I love the class, I think it needs to be remade from the ground up.

With the recent add of the new savage tier, we've seen many poeple rightfully complaining about the balancing of the class but for the WAR, one of the main issue is that you, imo, can't make him to perform as well as the others without making him absolutely broken since it's the easiest of the 4 tanks by a large margin and perhaps, the easiest job of the game.

And that's a problem in itself. I havn't play with the old version of the WAR so I can't compare but right now, the gameplay of the WAR is as basic as it can be, to the point of being boring at times. We have a ressource utterly pointless since Endwalker left us with only one spell to use it.

At this point, you can put a 15 CD on the Fellcleave, since nor Onslaught nor Revolt use the Beast Gauge anymore. It will not change anything.

We have a pretty big burst damage with Inner Release but it litterally plays out by pressing 2 different key. And aside of that, the same 123 / 124 (4->storms eye) repetition until Inner Release come back.

I've understand that SQ tend to simplify jobs, but in the case of WAR, it's too much.

In the end, I don't think they'll do it, since nothing has been said by the dev team regarding a change for the WAR now or the 7.0 and onwards, I just want to know if I'm the only one thinking that way
