Im sorry to say, but you are not really making much sense. Believe me when i say i know where you are coming from, i get it. The thing is, in your mind, Relic should come with an expansion and new Classes/Jobs, i don't see the connection.

idk how else to word it but to just have waited till a few more jobs are release and maybe alittle higher lvl cap. but if everyone else is fine with it, then its fine with me. I just like to have done it with the crowd when everyones doing it, than when later no one wants to do it and you cant get help. and do it for the job id like to have gotten it done with.

I agree, even though i didnt really read any of what was said XD. Mainly because are these "relic" weapons for u when your lv.50? cause isn't FFXIV suppose to end up at lv.99 in the future? when i hear relic weapons i cant help but think of the relics from dynamis in XI and should be for max lv. which is going to be lv.99. So when i see this u get relics at lv.50? I think that like o u get a relic weapon but when the cap increases a normal weapon will kick its ass. a relic weapon should be all powerful and insanely hard to get. So far from what I have seen its not hard to get at all just takes time and dedication.

When the cap is raised I see them releasing the ability to lvl up these relics, so you will use the new weapons while you work to lvl your relic up

These are af weapons. In the Japanese version they're simply called ジョブ専用武器 job specific weapons. It's the localization people that added the term "relic".

One thing that seems that people do not understand, is that just because are called "Relic Weapons" that doesn't mean these ones are like the "Relics" on FFXI (Even when they have the same name xD)

It would be nice if they were actually AF weapons and have the same way of obtaining them like the AF armor (was the same in XI) but nooo it had to be a weak attempt of relics
