    Suggestion: Add the option to see each second of a countdown as its counting down

    For the purpose of jobs that can do anything pre-pull, it would help to see each second of a countdown as its counting down. That way, you always know when exactly to use your pre-pull actions. I'm suggesting this as an option in the Settings so people who don't want this change don't have to use this option.

    Edit: The current countdown system is every interval of 5s and only counts each second on the last 5 seconds. I would like it to countdown every second(Example: a 15s countdown would go 15 > 14 > 13 > 12 > 11 > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2 > 1)

    Isn't that enough? What are you doing at 11 seconds pre-pull that needs to be that exact?

    Quite a few Jobs have precise-ish openers, DNC for example I think, with its Technical Step.

    Also, why be against this of all things?

    DNC just needs about 10 seconds before step wears off, so you just start a little after that flashes on the screen.

    There are macros out there if you need a more precise countdown.

    10? Not 15? I've been always cast it 15 seconds before the pull...

    Macro is only useful if the person doing the pull timer is using one but not everyone in the party has the luxury of it obviously.
    Also, with how the screen messages always stay on for a fixed duration, it's easy to miss a 5s intervall message on screen by something else popping up ("x minutes to complete duty, 8/8 members ready" etc) if you're not tunneling on the chat.
    And yes, some classes have very precise timings for their prepull stuff that's between the 5s intervals. Can also depend on the fight and how you need to align something with mechanics. I often had to use skills at odd times in the past and still do on some fights. It's easy to miss the exact timing when going be feeling alone.

    I don't see the harm in adding it. It would be a welcome QoL feature, especially in PF.
