He did contribute to the community. His guides to playing FFXIV with a controller are considered to be very well done and popular FFXIV content creators frequently refer their viewers to those guides when asked about playing with a controller.

In the end he's another content creator like any other. Some are going to like the style, others aren't. Some will agree with his opinions, others won't.

I was one who didn't like the Work to Game style (it wasn't just him, he has a partner for Work to Game) but I still see it as a loss to the community.

You say that, yet here you are telling me this. And it clearly takes one to know one, as your opinion is just as callous, if not worse. I already know my opinion doesn't count for much on its own. When I decide to go, I'm not going to make a thing of it. I'm sure you will though.
