Despite their difficult requirements, which Relic weapons are you getting first?

What EXACTLY are the step-by-step requirements? I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I decide to undertake one of these weapons.

1) Buy the 25,000 GC seal Key Item "On the Properties of Beastmen"

2) Collect primal seals from Hamlet Defense. You need 3 from Aleport (Tremor Seal), Hyrstmill (Vortex Seal), and Golden Bazaar (Inferno seal). Reportedly, if you're in the top 3 provisioners, you have a chance of being given one by the captain. Aim for 60k+ points.

3) You'll then be asked to bring a key item from one of the beastmen stronghold final NMs, as well as a double-melded weapon. These weapons are of the type that were recently introduced-- Mailbreaker, Rampager, Avengers, etc. This weapon does NOT need to be +1. It'll tell you in the quest text what kind of materia needs to be double melded to the weapon-- it's always tier IV, and is different for each weapon.

4) After you turn in all of that, then you have to go get 3 new items that drop from new chests in either CC or AV.

After that who knows?

Stardust.. is appealing. Though, stat wise, I'm not frothing at the mouth over it. My lightning brand/allegory combo is just shy of the int/mAtt the staff has, call me naive, but I really dont see the point in enfeebling potency and the crit..eh, I preferr consistencey so its a nice perk, but not a must have motive.

Conserve mp..nice. Useful.

I'm rather curious to know just how much it increases the Flare DoT though.

I have both WAR and PLD and though I mostly run on WAR, I'm interested in the Curtana over the Bravura. Not that the +50 emnity isn't nice, but it's not shoring up any holes in WAR. Reduces Vengeance recast, though...

This, minus having a PLD. I would prefer if it was more DD oriented..

I kind of hope they make it possible for people who can't get a party every minute of every day.

Same here. In almost any game/MMo that has a spear or pole arm user, that is my class/job/whatever.

Double bonus that Lancer is also Dragoon, which i've loved since Kain. Lancer was also my first 50 Class, and Dragoon was my first Job. So shuld i have the chance to obtain a relic weapon (and despite everything i'll give it a try) it will definately be a lance!
