    I mean.. you say they're ridiculous; but they made sense. Having ears crammed down under a metal helmet isn't a good thing, there would need to be some allowance for head-shape and ear position on helmets made. Maybe not earsocks, but something to show that "hey, this helmet/hat was made with a miqo'te in mind". Heck.. i'd take just cutting a hole in the helmets so our ears can stick out.
    Edit: And there are historic examples of animals used in war to have their ears taken into account when making items for them. Actual horse armour is a thing, and always took their ears into account when crafting the headpiece and Spanish Conquistadores made equipment for their attack dogs that allowed their ears to be exposed.

    Yeah.. I can't say I'm too happy about the Enshroud thing either. The job is fun, but this is just another grain of sand that will be on the scales down the line.

    I don't know if I should, but I want to blame XVI for a lot of this. We had gear that took racial traits into effect until end of Heavensward, and some of Stormblood; And I think that's about the time that SQEX started shaving off XIV team members off to work on XVI. Maybe I'm wrong and I just want to grasp onto the hope that when XVI is done, the team members will return and there will be an uptick in quality.. who knows. All I know is that I'm not happy with the direction this stuff is going in and want something to change.
