Everything you say about Hildibrand can be said about Eureka and Bozja. Some people hate it. You do it if you want the item. Or you skip it and don't contribute to their completion numbers.

You technically do need to complete Castrum Lacus Litore at least to complete the Bozja weapons. As for Eureka, you need to get to a certain level to get the drops from each boss, meaning you need to be at least level 59 before getting Provenance Watcher's scales (unless... can you buy those with the fate items now?) So you'd be contributing to some numbers anyway.

Here's hoping they don't do that to the Manderville Quests and you only need to unlock it through those quests.
Otherwise we'll never hear the end of it...
