    Crystaline Conflict Issue - Or Rather Confusion.

    After reading the necessary steps involved I'm now angry and confused about the following things, So team Astra and Team Umbra is a thing fair enough

    Heres my issue; BEFORE overtime the crystal has made PAST 80% but the opposite team is at 12% - YET Overtime the other team can push the crystal RIGHT PAST 50% and make it to end EVEN though BEFORE hand the one team has hit past the 50% (So an overall victory!). There is no reason for Overtime since clearly the one team has made it past 80% Why then is Overtime allowed when the team has clearly went past the 50% mark and the other team hasn't?

    I'm just confused as to why the overtime thing is a thing when the idea of it is for 50% marks, yet a team can claw their way back to victory BEFORE hand, it makes ZERO sense as to why the Overtime should be a thing if a team has made it past 50% and the other team hasn't.

    You are at a significant advantage if you have a 80-12 before overtime.

    The opponent needs to push beyond 80.

    And since they started at 12, they even need to clear your home base checkpoint.

    If you can't manage to stop them from going all the way from 12 to 80.1, you deserve to lose.

    Tip: If they have no LBs as overtime starts, fall back to weaken their position. Do not fight them at their base. The most frequent situation where you lose this way is that you made a lucky push to 80 just before overtime hits and people insist on staying deep in the enemy base and you eventually slowly get killed and lose your momentum.

    CC is by the far the most fun and simple thing ever, you stand on crystal and push it to the other teams base in over time the winner is whoever has more % on the top bar how does that confuse you its really so basic lol

    It's for "coming from behind last second hail mary" wins. It's more intense that way. You need to go all in at 100% or you aren't winning.

    Same thing happened in Monday Night Combat. Blue team could be killing pros and pushing bots all day but as soon as OT hits...the Money Ball is vulnerable to both sides and if the so far losing red team is in the right place at the right time....they can snatch victory right out of your hands.

    I like that you can turn it around if your team tries hard enough. Had it many times where the crystal got pushed almost to the end and then we turned it around and won. Other times we've nearly won and had pushed their crystal nearly to the end, then it got pushed all the way back (although this is less common because it is not easy to stop me at that point, I save Hallowed Ground for if they start succeeding).

    Noumenon posted some excellent advice above.

    Overtime is something that only happens if the losing team has a player on the Crystal when the game ends.

    If you WANT the game to end cuz you're in the least, you can take advantage of this in many ways as the winning team, from allowing the Crystal to return to mid (if your team is pushed deep into their base but won't hit the goal before time) to simply executing a timely knockback or other crowd control when there's about 2 seconds on the clock.

    Likewise, I wish there was a 'overtime soon' quick chat option or some other indicator for players that are newer. Maybe a 'beware <enemy job> limit break' one, too.
