I'm not walking into a raid 2 months in wearing 610ilv. Could I pull it off? Maybe. But I'm making the raid harder for the group than if I was on my main. I'll do less damage, have less health, if someone forgets mit I'll die and others won't. That's not fun and doesn't feel good. If I want week one challenge I'll make a min ilv group.

Yoshi can say whatever he likes, if it's not fun it's not fun.

The irony with people puffing out their chests and simply telling others to "GIT GUD" and "you don't need BiS!" is said players being told this have taken Yoshida's advice... by playing other games while they wait for BiS. Evidently, the system isn't working since he's had to beg people to play healers. Granted, there's more to the healer shortage than gearing but the devs' stubbornness gear progression is being met with equal stubbornness from the playerbase. At least from those of us who have already cleared.

I, for example, don't need to touch Savage ever again. I enjoy doing so for fun. It isn't fun if I'm playing a gimped job with barely any gear. And don't people around here always insist "if the content isn't fun, you should take a break!"

We're simply following yours and devs advice.
