If Gaelicats exist in Elpis, then by definition would they NOT be voidsent? As they existed pre-sundering and certainly pre-first calamity.

We need to know more about what determines the form a voidsent takes. It is clear that light and dark have inherent properties that creates creatures that look angelic and demonic as we would think of them. I do not think this is based off any beliefs of the people involved in the transformation either. I think light and dark had these properties and peoples beliefs shaped around that instead of light and dark being effected by the beliefs of those it warps.
It is possible the person making them in Elpis was trying out a life form that was more in tune with dark aether over the others and got that cat as a result.
