Am i the only one disappointed in the criterion series rewards?

Content is fun, think everyone agrees on it. Format works, though the savage version could use some improvement, so i wanna see it again but this seems so much like a missed opportunity on its rewards.

Why not make this a means to speed gearing for people that are late? For people already at bis, it means they can get alt jobs geared and the content is alive for longer; for people that aren't bis or just started progging, its a means to gain a fast track to prepare for the next ultimate, get glamour, etc.

I don't even mean the actual savage pieces btw, just using the books to convert them into savage books would already be massive, even if on a 2:1 ratio, since that means a drop in 1 to 2 weeks of waiting for a specific piece..

I'm honestly glad it's not another weekly loot grind wheel, we have enough of those. That said I would love it if it gave something like 520 gear to make it less hoops to jump through to get a flex role up and ready for criterion dungeons themselves.

• I think it's good content
• The rewards could/should definitely be better
• I also don't want a weekly lock out (at least not like savage raids) that would divide the playerbase (like savage raids...)

I wish it gave gear towards progressing its own content(savage). 625 ILVL gear would have been perfect. Having a unique gearset also would have been nice.

Is true that the rewards, in the Criterion ones, do not fit the challenges. But I do like the direction. Getting back to dungeons instead of terribly boring paths with no decisions to make.


On that point, decisions, why can we only have one ability in Criterion and we cannot even choose which one?

Fun is decisions per second. Having only one set ability is the opposite of fun. Especially when you get healers that do not heal. (Which sadly seems to be the norm).

I’m honestly disappointed with the criterion dungeon rewards. At the very least these dungeons should provide some kind of savage gear progression options. Having smaller scale savage mode dungeons is definitely a great idea, but not going to prog something for a throne that looks like cheaply crafted home decor.

wait so all I've been doing so far is suffer through PF lottery to progress far enough to actually get to the 3rd boss, and start learning the mechanics - only to get a chair for a mount? I wasn't aware there was no gear rewards LOL omg wtf is this xDDDD This is a rather disappointing revelation!!!!!
