Given that we now have some demonstrated ability, via the island sanctuary, to alter ground texture (grass vs dirt vs stone); could that feature be implemented into housing as well, as a ‘yard skin’ or ‘yard texture’ feature? Being able to toggle a yard texture from plain grass over to snow, or sand, or rocks, or lava, or flowers, or even water.. etc would be so cool! I would propose that it not take up an outdoor furnishing slot, since grass doesn’t.

Perhaps to further the ‘fun’ of collecting various yard textures, a special ‘texture gem’ or something could drop from various dungeons (e.g. Hell’s Lid drops Lava Texture Gems). Then, the ‘cost’ of retexturing is a particular gem. Alternatively, the gathering classes could gather texture gems from environments of the corresponding type.

In an even further embodiment, maybe multiple textures or partial textures could be implemented.
