Genius move. Yoshi really took a page out of Afrasiabi's book and integrated it into the game several times over and in the worst ways possible.
Personally, I find it the exact opposite. I loved the FFIV references in EW, was smiling my whole way through the moon, especially when the FFIV battle theme kicked in while fighting in Bestways Burrow, and I don't see anything at all as "handicapped" for the future. The remix of the FFIV boss theme used in the Scarmiglione fight is also one of just a couple remixes of past FF songs that I've liked just as much or more than the originals (the piano version of Cyan's theme used as part of the Tsukuyomi fight is the other).

Genuine question for you that others have asked, but you either didn't see if you have them on ignore or just chose to ignore anyway: You seem to truly hate absolutely everything about this game and find nothing enjoyable...why do you remain subbed?
