A game for 4 year olds

I am honestly still surprised that some of you still pay for this seemingly awful children game.

*shrug* Well in the end I really enjoy the beast tribe quests and that is all that matters to me. I hope that you guys will find something to like in this game too, after all in these uncertain times we live in, it would be sad to waste so much on sometimes that brings no happiness.

If i was half as dissatisfied with the game as some people in these forums, i would simply quit the game and find another game, for a time at least.
Maybe some people hope that 7.0 bringing a new overarching story will win them over again but i honestly doubt it.

What they didn't like in Endwalker won't go anywhere, Square simply have no reasons to not use Endwalker as a template going forward. And why wouldn't they ?

The reviews are praising the game, it gets a higher metascore than even shadowbringers, and the user score is as high as the last expansion.
With a feedback this positive, i don't see the game changing in significant way anytime soon or reverting it's tone to how it was in a previous expansion.

Funny thing is that I would now be called a White knight or a shill by some eventhough I had been very vocal in the past too. A lot of my posts had been negative and if Endwalker did not make me happy I would have left. But I did not just complain about it, I also took consequences and started to take breaks between the subs. There was a time when I was less than a half a year subbed and it would have been longer if I did not own a house. I also stopped buying from the cash shop and forbid a friend from giving me stuff there for my birthday.

It was probably not much but I at least did something. Some here complain endlessly, yet still seem to have a active sub nearly all the time and get stuff from the cash shop too. Why should SE listen? If someone still pays so much it cant be that bad after all.

Thankfully Endwalker saved the game for me and brought me much joy. I even bought myself the Shiba. I guess the real life situation right now made it even more clear to me that anything can end and that the time we have is precious. And I rather spend it with something that brings me happiness. Of course that does not mean that I wont complain about something in the future if I dont like it. Or that nobody should complain. But if something is more bad than good I am ready to drop it. Just like I wont do content even if I like the reward but hate doing it. I would have in the past, thankfully I learned and changed my behavior. It makes it so much easier.
