Do Bards need to be nerfed?

I have been experimenting with Bards recently, and I am starting to realise that they may be the most OP class in the game. It is virtually a necessity to bring one to a dungeon/trial, particularly a good one.

No. I am not talking about buffs. Buffs are not always necessary, not when you have a good tank/healer who can deal with poor DPS.

It is just that the class offers both Peloton and the ability to play instruments.

This means that not only do bards bring running speed into the game, but they can also entertain people in the downtime between pulls.

On top of this all, they can move about (unlike a BLM).

If a bard does buff (not always necessary), you have a trifecta.

I think it is absolutely insane that this class is able to exist in this format.

I wish bards could play music during the fight. They could probably live up to their class fantasy if they could play some motivational music when everyone needs it most. If you play it right, it could be like a healer LB3 and give them their fight back.
