If League's MMO is anything like their MOBA, I dread over the balance of their classes...
See, I read that as "the meta will be defined by which champion has the most skins".
Lux will be meta. Ornn will be there in the roster.
Yeah Ive heard its release date is around the same time as Star Citizen.ashes of creation

Oh almost forgot:
I happen to agree with 10000% , having played BOTH games now for several years, the gulf between what Yoshi and his team have done to make this game what it is vs the absolute fwe heap that WOW has become, is utterly gigantic. They don’t owe us ANYTHING. The sub for this game is cheaper than Netflix. Yoshida pours his blood, sweat and tears into this game and we pay pennies in exchange. I think we should be grateful that we’re getting anything at all. This isn’t Blizzard that we’re talking about here, this is Square Enix. They’re doing what they can with the small amount of resources that they have
I am EXTREMELY impressed with what the team has accomplished, which is why i stay. Before you go off on your "white knight" sneer campaign, just bear this in mind....
For the ONLY time in my decades of gaming, having been the customer of multiple MMOs, MUDs, MUCKs. BBS, multiplayer games of all stripes and kinds since...God how long has it been now....the late 80's..Blizzard are the ONLY company to which I have not only said "I am leaving", but to whom i told to literally WIPE my account, removing ALL TRACE of my past history with them.
Right to be forgotten invoked. I had NEVER done that before, such was my complete disgust. Think for a hard moment on what it took to get to that step.
All of it, gone. All licenses, gone. All games deleted , hard copies THROWN OUT, the cd's literally sliced up. I will never touch another one of their games again. Ever.
Square Enix is not perfect, no one has said otherwise. The game is not perfect nor will it ever be, despite the ardent, at close to, at times , manic nitpicking I have seen here, Yoshi and his team have delivered time and time again.
I am enjoying myself immensely, FF 14 , from the view of a seasoned long time gamer, is far, far superior than most, if not all, of its cohorts. Quite frankly, I am amazed at what they have accomplished, I too am grateful for all they have done.
Would that other MMO devs had the sense to try and follow their example.

I agree too, frankly.
I played another MMO for over a decade. A so-called Free to Play one - it used to be a pretty good game, but sadly turned into a FOMO-driven mess with Devs who became reliant on FOMO tactics and loot boxes and, as a result, neglect the actual game content. They only release one episode every five or so months and the rest of the time expect players to constantly play 'events' which last for weeks and involve repeat-playing recycled content with invisible timers, infinite waves of enemies and every other stupid scheme used to make sure players don't finish a given piece of new content too quickly. I mean, having to play a piece of content every now and then is all fine, but grinding it every day for weeks is a sure way to make me hate it to the point of not wanting to replay it ever again.
Saying that, the Devs of that game have made it clear that they consider the items that they sell through their cash-shop (or put into the loot boxes) to be 'content'. I, personally, don't agree and one of the many reasons I quit that game was because I had little interest in spending £250 on their cash-shop item 'bundles' or gambling to win their loot box grand prize. What's the point in shiny new items when there is absolutely no new content to use them in?
I much prefer paying a Subscription over the sort of sleazy, predatory, F2P model that the game I referred to, as well as others, have adopted.
