He should probably work as a gaming journalist. At this point he's writing more about the game than playing it, I'm sure. I got so much stuff to do and dont even know where to start, honestly. But everyone is different so... eh. I'm just saying his constant... uh.. critique would hold more water if he wouldn't do it pretty much constantly and about literally anything, no offense. I do find a few points valid, mind. At this point it's more like white noise, though.
The people who spend more time talking about the game instead of actually playing it.
I bet he'd be great at it
Dude, I also have been here since the closed alpha for 1.0. The game has never been more successful. That's just a fact if you go by numbers alone. Not liking something is fair, but what you're saying is straight up not true.
"I have nothing to say until the next live letter"
kkthxbye, troll
It's usually people like this that have the biggest egos in the community, believing they have all the right solutions. I recall somebody saying that players are experts in finding problems in a game, however they're not capable of coming up solutions to those problems and to me that holds very much true these days. You operate on this notion that your way is THE right way. That your way is the tried n true way to "save" the game. Very self important
XIV isn't top mmo to who? Is that backed by numbers or is that an opinion? I'm not saying youre wrong. I'm simply asking if you're stating this as a fact and if its backed up with numbers. Also you're saying people who don't think EW has fallen off are immature? If so that take make no sense...like at all. If that is what you're saying again youre putting on this "holier than thou" standpoint that's just not needed.
You want people to discuss thing with you in good faith? Start being considerate of others opinions that differ to yours.
That's because (as someone else famously said) players don't know what it is they actually want or need. It's usually people like this that have the biggest egos in the community, believing they have all the right solutions. I recall somebody saying that players are experts in finding problems in a game, however they're not capable of coming up solutions to those problems and to me that holds very much true these days.
A lot of the time I asked people who just complain about something being bad(and not elaborating how/why) what they would do to improve it I would get the answer of "it's not my job to think of that"....in other words they were complaining to have their 5 seconds of fame as the OP on a post that would get 10-20 pages on average. It's usually people like this that have the biggest egos in the community, believing they have all the right solutions. I recall somebody saying that players are experts in finding problems in a game, however they're not capable of coming up solutions to those problems and to me that holds very much true these days.
Never seen someone as chronically unhappy as OP.
Congrats on making it to youtube though I guess. Didn't expect to see your name pop up there.
oh, did zepla pick up this thread?
I think it's sad that this is how this person wants to get noticed. Get your 20-something butt on youtube like your contemporaries and talk your nonsense with your whole chest. Let the world properly enjoy the ridiculousness that is someone clearly unexperienced in the ways of the world try to tell established writers, producers and developers EXACTLY how they should be saving their game.
