This creates the implication that what one person views as being imperfect in the game is the same as what you view as being imperfect. This is a whole thing of different strokes for different folk.

It's not that hard to simply admit the game isnt perfect and has a million ways to improve, which some MAJOR improvements needed to it.

It is simply not okay that I can just buy it with the tomestones I already had with me and be done.

You're not done. You're only at the starting line. Also, you can't "just buy it with the tomestones." By the time you've gotten to that stage, you've already put in hours of Manderville questing. As a veteran player, being able to immediately buy the weapon is a sort of loyalty reward. For newer players and even for older players who have yet to tackle the Manderville quests, they have a ways to go to get to that starting line. I'm looking forward to finding out what the rest of the grind is going to entail. I think it's still a little early to write this off as bad.

Sure, though the people you are quoting I am pretty sure have never admitted to the game being perfect, and have equally gone into threads and voiced their own concerns when the topic is actually relevant. I for one would be inclined, but I am not so inclined on a thread where actual discussion is pretty much actively discouraged on both sides, and I would daresay many others are the same. A lot of people actively debating have shown they aren't wholly capable of having a meaningful discussion.

I will leave you to your delusions, this thread is more than enough evidence that a lot of players in this game absolutely cannot handle criticism of any kind agaisnt it, if you cant see that, then you are a part of that and you are not worth responding to.

No, this thread was doomed from the onset when you make comments such as this which aren't entirely conducive to having a productive debate.

If it even makes it through to the proper channels, but rather than face criticism it seems they’d rather pander to the less-mature subset of players that congregate on Twitter – from whom they can expect nothing but unconditional positivity.

I cannot imagine what appeal these weapons would have for us veteran players who likely already own a good number of relics, let alone those of us unwilling to suffer through the torment of the Hildibrand quests.

People shouldn't be lambasted on the basis of the platform they use, nor should they really be generalized. I would argue Twitter has had just as many productive debates as exhibited in this thread.

Nor should you be speaking on behalf of other players, quite frankly.
