The real question is why is she fishing the General Threads for material to begin with? She used to play World of Warcraft, does she not know how weird forums tend to get?
There's still time to tie variant into the relic. The first stage is always simple farming. Now that we've set the story for both, there will likely be some component to be found down there.I am standing by I still think "complete X amount variant dungeon endings" should have tied into the relic and there really should be more of a reward for Criterion savage. I think they loaded Island Sanctuary a bit too much with the rewards this patch instead of spreading them equally. Island Sanctuary has 4 mounts, 2 hairstyles, and 2 glamours. I do think some of that could have been moved to Criterion/Savage.
Criterion is in a weird spot for rewards (I liken it to Delubrum Savage), but hairstyles definitely don't belong there. If we're looking at Bozja's full scope of rewards, IS has exactly what we would've obtained from the other kind of farming.
That's basically how her second channel works. It's just random twitch convos and looking at stuff going on in the community. The forums have come up before and that's how I knew it was her that picked it up when Youtube was mentioned.
I started watching this and it's an entertaining read of the nonsense regularly posted here.

Or, from a perspective of someone not trying to tear someone down because this has become too personal: the fact that they enjoy the game enough to be here and attempt to criticize it, while advocating that there can be improvements, suggests that they simply care enough about the game that they would prefer for it to succeed and just believes that there is "another way."Not really, you don't. You're playing a game that isn't the game you want to play. When you feel like something or someone's trajectory is not only what you personally want but also you think you can 'fix' through complaining, you're not really in love with that thing. Inside the world of a game...
You know, like the many healer players that have come to this forum to request changes to design of the role in general, the SAM players that came to voice their dissatisfaction with the Kaiten changes, the aggrivated housing populations (and those who are still hoping to join them), etc. etc. etc..
How many of the streamers that came with the December wave stuck to the game once the MSQ ran out?
Getting daily stream content for FF14 must be like wringing water out of a stone. Can't say I envy the s̶h̶i̶l̶l̶ streamer's life
Don't know if it comes from there but it was part of Mark Rosewater's 20 years 20 lessons presentation at GDC 2016. This is also common game designer wisdom. Listen to criticism, not suggestions. It's usually people like this that have the biggest egos in the community, believing they have all the right solutions. I recall somebody saying that players are experts in finding problems in a game, however they're not capable of coming up solutions to those problems and to me that holds very much true these days.
Which is why I believe criticism is healthy for the game even when it's not "constructive". Just saying "I don't like X" is a more valuable information than people give it credit.
One of the many reasons why viewership for FFXIV is so bad, to the point that streamers just go and read the forums as "content" or watch youtube videos.
Pretty laughable really.
First of all, those are valid concerns but here is the thing and believe me or not, if you been around here for a long time like myself (on Oct 31, it will be eight years here (2.4 to be exact) I will take this 110% over the stuff we had back in the days (You want to talk about content droughts, it was way worst around ARR/HW). If you want to talk about the relics grind and how it looks, how about you try the ARR relics (when it first came out) or complain about Criterion/Variant Dungeons rewards (I can tell you horror stories about POTD). For the glam, I enjoyed that type of glam because it expanded outside of the MMO type into different genres ones, and you can have your own unique look and if you don't like it then you dont have to get it.
But at the end of the day, Criterion/Variant Dungeons is still a work in progress with more content coming down the line like how Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High was. Plus, mostly the X.2x patch is usually light anyway except for Patch 1.23 (when a certain moon was about to drop).
