The real question is why is she fishing the General Threads for material to begin with? She used to play World of Warcraft, does she not know how weird forums tend to get?
Don't know if it comes from there but it was part of Mark Rosewater's 20 years 20 lessons presentation at GDC 2016. This is also common game designer wisdom. Listen to criticism, not suggestions. It's usually people like this that have the biggest egos in the community, believing they have all the right solutions. I recall somebody saying that players are experts in finding problems in a game, however they're not capable of coming up solutions to those problems and to me that holds very much true these days.
Which is why I believe criticism is healthy for the game even when it's not "constructive". Just saying "I don't like X" is a more valuable information than people give it credit.
Ironic coming from MaRo in hindsight. Burn WOTC! BURN! J/k, thrilled for the potential crossover for once.Don't know if it comes from there but it was part of Mark Rosewater's 20 years 20 lessons presentation at GDC 2016. OT: Still debating whether I want to answer this topic seriously. Probably not worth the effort.

First of all, those are valid concerns but here is the thing and believe me or not, if you been around here for a long time like myself (on Oct 31, it will be eight years here (2.4 to be exact) I will take this 110% over the stuff we had back in the days (You want to talk about content droughts, it was way worst around ARR/HW). If you want to talk about the relics grind and how it looks, how about you try the ARR relics (when it first came out) or complain about Criterion/Variant Dungeons rewards (I can tell you horror stories about POTD). For the glam, I enjoyed that type of glam because it expanded outside of the MMO type into different genres ones, and you can have your own unique look and if you don't like it then you dont have to get it.
But at the end of the day, Criterion/Variant Dungeons is still a work in progress with more content coming down the line like how Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High was. Plus, mostly the X.2x patch is usually light anyway except for Patch 1.23 (when a certain moon was about to drop).

I feel like the only issue with this patch was the rewards for criterion. Pretty lackluster across the board, only getting worse as you climbed up the difficulty. Just giving the title for savage would've been better than giving a manuscript for no value. Honestly, they should've removed the manuscript and given you more silver for completing it on savage since there is no weekly lockout on either. Give the players a way to grind the lackluster hard mode rewards instead of providing even worse savage rewards xD. Its still not a good option, but much better than what they did.
Even as new content they are testing for its popularity, the rewards are still an F.
Otherwise, I think everything else is pretty good at least in my opinion![]()
You'd think that it would be in peoples' interest to have a streamer (even if 'small') to help bring exposure to a particular topic or debate, but apparently not, according to some people.
Besides, don't see why people take a particular issue or distaste for a streamer using their own platform to debate a particular topic. It is their platform after all.
No, you are not her topic. The thread is her topic, don't be so self important. Lol
