I am standing by I still think "complete X amount variant dungeon endings" should have tied into the relic and there really should be more of a reward for Criterion savage. I think they loaded Island Sanctuary a bit too much with the rewards this patch instead of spreading them equally. Island Sanctuary has 4 mounts, 2 hairstyles, and 2 glamours. I do think some of that could have been moved to Criterion/Savage.

There's still time to tie variant into the relic. The first stage is always simple farming. Now that we've set the story for both, there will likely be some component to be found down there.

Criterion is in a weird spot for rewards (I liken it to Delubrum Savage), but hairstyles definitely don't belong there. If we're looking at Bozja's full scope of rewards, IS has exactly what we would've obtained from the other kind of farming.

The real question is why is she fishing the General Threads for material to begin with? She used to play World of Warcraft, does she not know how weird forums tend to get?

That's basically how her second channel works. It's just random twitch convos and looking at stuff going on in the community. The forums have come up before and that's how I knew it was her that picked it up when Youtube was mentioned.

I started watching this and it's an entertaining read of the nonsense regularly posted here.

I will say, though, that I do think there is a bit of tunnel vision at play here and am curious as to why everything is viewed in terms of the wants and needs of the existing playerbase?

Like it or not, the game does need to take steps to appeal to/retain new players too.

IDo you shaft your existing playerbase to make things better for new players or shaft new players while keeping your existing one happy? One can lead to people mass leaving in droves while the other can lead to no new people joining (which I personally feel is less likely). Who do you hurt in this situation?

At precisely this moment you proved that you have a superiority complex and everything you say is invalid. It's not about content at this point, it's elitism, and you want to play your game, not someone else's game that has to account for more tastes than yours.

Anyone who reads anything you type can see this complaint over and over again and how you are just unhappy about this game. Feels like at this point, you should consider something you'll enjoy more.

Not really, you don't. You're playing a game that isn't the game you want to play. When you feel like something or someone's trajectory is not only what you personally want but also you think you can 'fix' through complaining, you're not really in love with that thing. Inside the world of a game... you can just stop.

Or, from a perspective of someone not trying to tear someone down because this has become too personal: the fact that they enjoy the game enough to be here and attempt to criticize it, while advocating that there can be improvements, suggests that they simply care enough about the game that they would prefer for it to succeed and just believes that there is "another way."
You know, like the many healer players that have come to this forum to request changes to design of the role in general, the SAM players that came to voice their dissatisfaction with the Kaiten changes, the aggrivated housing populations (and those who are still hoping to join them), etc. etc. etc..

Ngl kinda agree. She should probably work on figuring out what makes her unique and produce original FF related content instead of regurgitating what other people write on a forum.

Yeah how dare content creators try to bring forum discussions about the game and give more attention to what other people are finding problems with the game.

It was her literally reading word for word the first post and not even drawing attention to anyone else's comments in the thread. How is that helpful or addressing player concerns if she's focusing on only one and laughing about it? I'm glad she said a couple things were valid but her tone and appearance seemed like it was a joke to her.
