New Patch and Glam

The new noir set with the new patch looks lovely! I am a huge fan of noir-style media, and SE including such sets makes me very happy and is almost entirely my motivation to play the new variant dungeon(s)!

And yet, here's the rub. Another glam created by SE, another hat viera can't wear. This one hurts pretty hard for the above reasons. I refuse to believe SE isn't aware that releasing glamour that viera/hrothgar can't wear not only makes people irritated, but further adds to the issue. Every new headwear that can't be worn by viera and hrothgar just makes the problem worse. It's adding to technical debt. And it's making viera/hrothgar players' gameplay experience worse every time.

This probably sounds like whining, and it definitely is in part, and this post will likely fall into the void. But as a 'not surprised but saddened' viera player, my joy for the new glamour has that spike of irritation to it for the lack of viera/hroth usability!

Please, SE, let me be a bun/big catte noir enjoyer in full. Not that I think you actually will. With every new patch, every new glam, my belief that these two races will ever see actual fixes in full dies a little more. </3!

Nah, you aren't whining in a negative manner. There's no good reason why they can't make Viera ears or even Hrothgar heads work with newly added armor/glamour sets.

Whilst i'm personally not a fan of the gearset - seconding the hat issue because at this point it's almost funny that it keeps happening - except it makes me want to cry. I'm really mystified by where they decided to place this gearset in the game though. It's an investigators outfit and we just got a whole questline with Hildy - an investigator. Why wasn't it included there instead? Maybe I'm just a bit sour because I feel like it's a missed opportunity to not have gotten some cool sil'dih themed glam and I feel completely demotivated to grind for a gearset I hate - the coat is cool and will make people happy which is great - but the hat issue and the 7000th pair of generic office trousers and shoes just feels so underwhelming o_o

If there's any hat glamour Vieras/Hrothgars should've received, this was it (in fact, I was fully expecting it).
So needless to say...please implement the Noir Hat for them.

I wish someone would ask this question in the next Q&A. Why are newly released hair styles/headpieces and hats not considered or even worked on when it comes to the new races. Or is there a plan to do all of these witht the launch of 7.0?

I understand these ideas are worked on months to even a year out so this may have already been made before 6.0 even released but it would be helpful for everyone if they shared a timeline on when they plan on having X amount of hairstyles and headpieces updated.

Not at all surprised. New glams, including all store headgear, should be visible on Viera and Hrothgar. Especially the latter. I don't understand the dev team's reasoning, unless it's just plain ol' laziness.

At this point it's not laziness it's simply not caring. Which is what I feel for the new dungeon rewards already. They will add another variation on a race because of "demand" but don't fix said races headgear. I'm betting female Hrothgar with 90% of headgear broken on Viera and Hrothgar
