    I'm glad the Criterion Dungeon won't require Savage gear as some people have been speculating. It just syncs to 635.
    A casual pleb like me can try it for a challenge.

    I would assume that the 635 item lvl sync means that 635 is the item level cap, not that everyone syncs to it.
    Could be very wrong though. I haven't looked into the new dungeons even an inch.

    Doesn't that just mean it syncs down if you are over the 635? It doesn't mean that you sync up.

    You're not required to have full savage gear to enter ultimates either despite the DPS checks being very much tuned with it in mind.

    I'm assuming the first two difficulties are tuned somewhat lightly, but that you will definitely need BiS gear for savage.
