Wand glamour for white mages?

Are there any white mages that miss their wands? It's not a major concern I know but I was curious I'd people prefer their big canes or would rather have some wands for their personal style.

I personally wouldn't mind a few choice wand glams to use. We still stance as if we're holding a wand and shield anyway lol

I agree, I think they ought to just go back and make the one-handed wands "two-handed". I wonder if they'd conflict with any animations they've given WHM (and/or BLM, really) since then though? I can't think of any that involve holding the staff with both hands off the top of my head...

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue as a wand isn't going to clip in any way that a cane doesn't already anyway.

I'd love to dig out the old Levi wand and shield again

I absolutely hated the wands and shields and the fact that WHM only got the ugly 2 hand weapons while BLM got the nice ones from the primals.

Ifrit? Ugly, give it to WHM
Garuda? Nice, but give WHM the wand.
Titan? Ugly, give it to WHM
Mog? Nice, but give WHM the wand
Levi? Nice, but give WHM the wand

And the biggest letdown of them all? The FF13 event weapons. I was really looking forward to Vanilles Binding Rod and then it was so tiny.


If they can add the wands without me missing out on 2 hand canes sure fine. But I don't want to go back to that time where everyone gets a nice looking weapon and WHM gets a wand.

something tells me they'd rather just remove wands entirely as an option from WHM (and scepters from BLM) so they can reuse it later for a different job

as for animations, back in SB i vaguely remember aero3's animation was really dumb with a wand, but with our current skills i dont think anything would 'clip' per se, maybe assize would look a bit silly because it's designed with a larger weapon in mind but that's all

I would really love to have wand/scepters as at least a glam option. Just change it to "conjurer arm" / "thaumaturge arm" and remove the 1h/2h tag so we can glam our favorite wand/scepters over staffs.

I use WHM wand in Bozja. Looks prettier and comfier to my eyes. Cane just clips in a lot animations.

Now if we can use the wand glamour for our cane that oughta be most welcomed…

This also allows you to use a shield.

Bojza syncs your stats UP instead of down, so a WHM with a wand and shield is actually the optimized setup because it allows you to block.

Final Fantasy tactics make whm or most job verse lol. Like a whm using a sword to attack instead of a wand o.o ofc they still wouldnt hit harder like a job woth sword such as knight wouldnt but i love giving shields to them so the enemy dont aim them out first.

I'm conflicted because on one hand, my Hroth's battle stance has a better posture with a wand+shield than with a staff, but on the other hand, (imo) there's not a single good looking wand or 'caster' shield in the game.
