Suggestion: Add a 'shopping list' for crafters and gatherers

Problem: What I find very inconvenient, is when I have multiple things I want to craft, and I have to go back and forth between a spreadsheet to keep track of the dozen or so things I need to craft. For example, the daily supply missions that often have over a dozen types of ingredients. If you have some crafters that are pretty close in level, you're going to have a lot of overlap in materials. Or even if they aren't close in level, that's just more materials that you have to keep track of.

Or lets say you are wanting to craft an entire set of armor at level 80 and want to keep track of all the materials needed. It's kind of a pain to do manually.

The favorites list, and wish list, do not accomplish what I am going to propose.

Solution: Make a shopping list. What is a shopping list? It's like a combination of something like the favorites list, and the raw materials list. You would right click on the item in a menu, and add it to the shopping list. The shopping list would be it's own window almost like the 'daily timers' window. You can add to it from any craftable item you can right click, and bring up this 'shopping list' window that keeps a running tally of all the materials you need.


For example: you have 5 recipes, and 1 of the recipes has 2 toad leathers, another has 1 toad leather, and another has 1 toad leather. This shopping list would add all those together and tell you that you need 4 toad leathers. Same thing for all the other individual materials for the recipe.

Also helpful, if you could say how many of each recipe you wanted to make. So maybe you want to make 2 bloodhemped doublets of crafting and 3 bloodhempen brais of striking, it would tally up all those materials and crystals too.

It should be able to be brought up even when you are looking at the market board. That way you can just go down the list and get as much of everything that you need.

Another useful thing would be to be able to right click on the materials in the list, and hit 'search for item by gathering method' if you want to gather them yourself. May as well add 'search for item by crafting method' too.

I'm thinking it would probably end up looking something like the recipe tree, because sometimes there are intermediate items that need to be made, so the player can decide if they want to get all the very basic ingredients, or maybe get some ingots/cloth/leather instead.

This shopping list would be such a lifesaver. Going back and forth trying to remember all the materials for a crafting run can be a real headache sometimes, especially if you have a bunch of stuff you want to craft. This would greatly streamline that process.
