How do I center HUD elements?

So i know about the controls and pixel perfect movement etc, but there's one thing Google is too useless to answer. (Isn't it always useless lately?)

Just how do i get a bar or window dead centered on the middle line?
There's the grid lines on screen BUT they are impossible to focus on so i cant count the squares to ensure dead centered placement.

So is there a way to can move a bar and ensure it is DEAD center on the middle line so i can get my HUD centered perfectly and symmetrical?

I don't think so. I think you just have to get it as close as you can to that.

In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

I don't know of any way to perfectly center it but you can snap to grid by holding shift.

Use the big grid squares first. Every fourth grid line is slightly darker. After you have it within the same number of big squares on each side, adjust it so that the darker grid lines are the same distance from each side, using the smaller squares to count inward toward the center. That way, you never need to count more than 3 small squares in each direction.
