Congratulations on supporting perverts who go into someone else's apartment knowing that at least the owner is there to harass them.
All 3 owners asked him to leave but he started discussing what definitely counts as a nuisance.
To top it off, he then posted chat logs with their names / apartment numbers here, to enjoy his creepy behavior even more.
And you think this behavior is normal / legitimate just because someone leaves their apartment open so that "friends" can enter the apartment?
What other people do in their home is their business alone. None has the right to go in and judge what someone does in his own Apartment.

1. First off, I'm sure you've been in a house or two that was left unlocked. I know I go into them to see how others decorated their home. If the individuals are so bothered by him being there, don't you think it's up to them to report it?
2. Second, he mistakenly didn't get all the name filtered. You reported him for it, so move along.

Someone who is an ass in Real life is usually also an ass here in game. We all bring Real life behaviors with us into this game, why would we pretend we're completely different here?
In the end there is a Real Person behind every WoL, who can get hurt by this behavior. You never know what a player has experienced in his life. Some behaviors can trigger ...

Is this behavior normal? Even if it is just a joke in this moment for him, for the others for sure not.
Since when did SE allowed bored Players to do this? There is a simple rule :

If you are not invited to an Apartment, then you stay out if the Owner is online and in his Apartment.
Feel free to look at open Apartments when the Owner is offline or in a different Area. That's what normal Players do.

Not really. People walk into houses, apartments and FC rooms all the time, regardless of whether the person is online or not. If you're so against it, lock it, otherwise you'll always be in such a danger of people walking into you doing something you don't want them to see.

Not to mention, the person called him by name. They likely knew them. And at no point did they tell him to leave in such a rude manner, nor did he overstay his welcome.

Yeah, it was bad of him to not censor peoples' names entirely, it was a gaffe and he admitted to it. One I unfortunately share. And both of us corrected it, he took the images down, I deleted the post.
But there's nothing illegal about what he did whatsoever.

Ok ok...everyone calm down. Listen to those defending me thank you but I DO see her point to a certain extent. I just wanted to do something wacky and did not mean for this to blow up into some huge debate. Aneshda I get what you are saying about posting the names (which my mistake. I tried to edit and missed some). However I'm not sure what things are like on your server but Balmung is an RP server. It's also a weird server. Weird things happen...and a guy delivering pizza to the wrong address is just one of many weird occurrences in Balmung.

Yes what they said was direct and to the point. However it was said IN CHARACTER. One does not RP walk up and draw a weapon if they OOC are offended or making a point. That does not happen. A guy who is a corpse on the ground would get up and be like "dude you need to go" if I was absolutely intruding. I was not stalking. I went in, did my gig, and got out. Each one of these took 30 seconds of time. They would not have accepted my trade if they were offended. Everything was done in character.

You reported me and what is done is DONE. I'm not mad at you for doing what you think is right. It's all out of our hands now and either nothing happens or I get banned from the forums/game for a time or just forever. What is done is done.

Overreacting, Yes you're not thinking clearly. Listen I'm not saying his idea is the best of ideas or condoning his choices. It wasn't the brightest of ideas, and he's pretty much admits the same. However your approach and behaviors here in the forums are pretty much just as bad. Calling people perverts that you don't even know, ranting on about someone's character in real life like it's fact. It's just as bothersome or even more-so if you ask me. Nuisance behavior is prohibited, but in the same token so is your insults and slanderous name calling you exhibited in this thread. You're conflating being called out on being rude, persistent and threatening with having an opinion others can agree or disagree with. Criticism is fine, but what you're doing goes beyond that with the way you've been wording it. And in case you haven't realized, everyone else has posted criticism of you, but you're the one who seems unable to handle it. OP made a mistake, OP owned it. OP even allegedly has evidence that someone he interacted with did not take it poorly whatsoever. He did all that, yet you're still saying he can't handle criticism? Are you the one ignoring him now? Anyone can go into your house if you allow it, at any time, unprompted. If you think it's rude, then all Square Enix says is "politely ask them to leave". Square's own TOS says as much: they won't interfere with disputes between players, they leave it to the players to sort it out themselves and be mature about it. If this were real life, this would be a bigger matter of contention. But there's no pudor within a videogame. Stop conflating the two and own up to your constant virtue signaling.

Also? Keep in mind that threatening to report people is something you can be reported for in turn. So too can persistent harassment and calling them names like "pervert". So if you're going to be a hypocrite, it's through breaking the ToS you apparently think you're defending.

Yep. My house is already locked anyway because I've heard horror stories of people finding players ERPing in their houses, but now I'm definitely keeping it locked because I don't want some creep lurking around.

This is precisely why my FC room and personal is locked lol. Sometimes, people who want a cute house to erp in will just... do that. And get mad when you walk into YOUR HOUSE to use it for crafting/idling/whatever. I don't want to deal with that, thanks.

Oh my god. No, you're overreacting. If people are going to erp in their apartments/houses/fc rooms, they should probably LOCK THE DOOR after the person they're getting it on with gets in. Leaving the door open means anyone can walk in, at any time. If my house was open and I was RPing in it, I'd respond angrily in character and out of character probably be laughing because believe it or not, a lot of roleplayers find this kind of stuff funny. I don't doubt he'd fully apologize profusely and make sure he didn't bother someone again if they weren't for it out of character, but there are weirder people than the OP on my server (both natives and visitors.) If anything, this is a good lesson for people to lock their houses when they're doing erp, or even general sfw rp and don't want random people walking in to do either this or to see how they have their house/room decorated.
