Even though it's a different tomestone, the concept of time gating still applies as we can only have a limited number of them at a time and 2000 isn't nearly enough to gear out 13 jobs' worth of gear.
That's on you to have 8 retainers, but even they don't need the absolute best gear. Once you reach like 580 or something, your adventurers max out at bringing back 15 of everything.
