I would also support for lower prices for gear so that people can maintain their other jobs but at the end of the day it's all just numbers. You don't REALLY need to have the bis for everything in order to do the content

You don't NEED best-in-slot and/or highest item level but people LIKE doing it. The game wouldn't suffer if the tomestone cap was doubled to 900 after the first two months of a tier rather than waiting for the alliance raid to launch mid-tier.
