I've only gotten one non-ARR EX on mentor and it was Ravana. It was pretty easy. ARR has always been a crap shoot with the sprouts following direction. Ramuh has always been the most painful.

I hope they add savage to mentor roulette to give whiners even more reason to stop running it and ruining the experience for new players.
It's not even hard to clear EX primals in Mentor roulette, with a handful of exceptions like Ramuh EX or Sephirot. Outside of those few, most EX primals are a quick and easy clear that frequently take less time than a dungeon. A lot of them are even prone to being killed in a single attempt due to power creep.
If a mentor is repeatedly failing to clear EX's in Mentor roulette, they should examine themselves as the common factor.
If they ever added savage they better also put the coils in there. I've actually done the bulk of them synced by helping sprouts do them in PF. I'd take doing synced old savage content and the coils over another boring guildhests or ARR EX in my mentor roulette. I mean, there's no way people would ever get through Hello World or Grand Cross Delta or Gavel or Light Rampant, but it'd be funny to watch the absolute chaos unfold. I already have the mentor mount so I would welcome the extra spicy mentor roulette to make it interesting again. I don't even get the fun EX trials like Shinryu or Thordan or Hades when I queue on DPS, it's all just boring Garuda and Shiva or guildhests.I hope they add savage to mentor roulette to give whiners even more reason to stop running it and ruining the experience for new players.

Mentor roulette should not be a cakewalk. it's not a normal roulette. Extremes are not hardcore content. A mentor actually worth their salt should be able to help people in it. Put your big boy or girl pants on and do it. If the spouts can't handle it, they will likely abandon it themselves.
The vast majority of mentors have little to no experience outside of passable job knowledge, if they even have that. Heck, a lot of them actually seem to be worse at the game than many sprouts. Like I said before: either increase the requirements to be a mentor or remove extremes from the roulette. Having low reqs and extremes in the roulette is just begging for trouble.Mentor roulette should not be a cakewalk. it's not a normal roulette. Extremes are not hardcore content. Then they should not be doing mentor roulette. The people in mentor roulette that realize that can't cut it will eventually stop, if there were penalties for bailing beyond the 30 minutes penalty. The vast majority of mentors have little to no experience outside of passable job knowledge, if they even have that. I love the idea of a "fill" roulette. I never bothered doing mentor roulette even when I had the crown (I let it expire and never renewed) because I didn't want to wind up in some Extreme content that I'd unsynced ages ago and didn't know how to do, while having the added expectation that I guide other players who won't listen to basic advice. My only experience with an EX done in the dutyfinder was LEviathan, back when falling off was permadeath, and we never got very far because even when I'd mark myself with a giant circle and run to the safe zone and jump up and down there, people just wouldn't follow and they'd die every single time.
At least in a "filler" roulette situation, nobody would expect me to magically understand everything about 9 year old content or whatever.

That doesn't explain anything. What makes it not a normal roulette? The mount for doing 2k? You can one of the tank mounts from daily roulettes. Btw extremes are not casual content. Casual (combat) content is content that can easily be cleared with limited number of wipes and general knowledge. That puts it in hardcore.Mentor roulette should not be a cakewalk. it's not a normal roulette. Extremes are not hardcore content. The goal isn't to pair sprouts with mentors in content they will just abandon.
