Boosted Player Burnout

I am tired of seeing these players who dont know anything about the game mechanics in dungeons and raids. I keep seeing tanks who do nothing but stand in mechanics and not even mitigate. I see healers who dont heal at all through instances and cause wipes and ask whats the problem. Boost books need to be locked off behind progression on a single character. Make it so people actually have to learn the game. I just had some numpty in Mt Gulg playing DRK and eating EVERY SINGLE AOE that the trash mobs were throwing, and had to rescue them from AOE vuln stacks on a boss. Boosting is becoming a problem and players who dont know what they are doing are making the dungeon runs excruciating for those of us who know what we are doing.

Er, I mean...non-boosted players do this as well. The game doesn't really do a good job in explaining mechanics anymore because old content gets burned through so quickly.

One would think with the basics of the game being literally thrown into your face as early as humanly possible and official intro material being released that there would be at least a minimum of expectation that needs to be met.

Alas - players can be as ignorant as they are free to do most things in the game. Feel free to voice your concern however and simply take steps to distance yourself from people who feel like they are fine because nothing has forced them to do better yet.

Trying to get people to perform adequately in this game is like trying to get blood from a stone, there's no point even trying. The game has both created and enabled this problem and I dont see it changing anytime soon
