Sound effects cutting out at certain camera angles & voice lines missing

Basically, a few days ago I started having an issue where if I move the camera to a certain angle, sound effects begin to be cut short or disappear entirely. It doesn't happen for ambient noises/background music or noises generated by my player character, but does for things like mounts. I managed to make it a bit better by fiddling with the listening position option but it's still present, just less noticeable. It happens from when I turn the game on to when I close it, and I hadn't changed anything about my sound settings (in-game or in Windows) or my hardware when it started happening.

Also, some voice lines are missing in cutscenes. Player voices still seem to be there but other players' suffer from the issue above. Not all the voice lines are missing though, in some cutscenes there will be voices in one part but not in another, like here. (mild EW spoilers)

I'm playing on Windows 11, my PC meets all the requirements for the game and I'm using Razer Kraken X headphones but the problem still occurs with other output devices. I'm not set to surround sound or anything, again haven't changed anything since it was working correctly. I've already tried restarting the game, my PC, reinstalling the game, troubleshooting output devices, and I've looked through all the settings and on the internet for anything that could help but haven't found a good solution yet. Anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?

    Greetings fellow Eorzean,

I'm sorry to hear about this audio issue that you've been experiencing. Have you tried updating your sound drivers by any chance? Additionally, it might also help to run the game after clean booting your PC to ensure that there aren't any other programs that might be conflicting with the game. To perform a clean boot, please open your Task Manager and navigate to the 'Start Up' tab. From there, disable all applications listed and restart the PC. Once this has been done, please try starting the game up once more to see if there are any changes.

I hope this helps! Thanks for posting in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Technical Support Forums.
