Nothing, but there are more efficient ways of making gil. You need to be level 50 and ranked to second lieutenant in GC to buy an apartment.
It's a handy little move bonus though for people who have those on their main, but no apartment.
Edit: and the other bonus of course is a *one time* 1,000,000g bonus for hitting level 30 on a new character on a new server, and *one time* 15 days free play time for the same. - if you used those up on Materia or the new EU servers (or in the dim dark past) you don't get those again.

The other bonus is actually what I was thinking of. Glad to see they thought that through though.Nothing, but there are more efficient ways of making gil. You need to be level 50 and ranked to second lieutenant in GC to buy an apartment.

My cousin's FC had already decided to move before the date was announced. They want better access to housing and like the idea of being part of a totally new data center. I've got an alt in their FC that will be going with them plus I'm going to transfer two of my other characters to help get the hunt community started.
The gil bonus is once per data center per account. I think that's SE's way of making sure some gil gets flowing in new data centers.Nothing, but there are more efficient ways of making gil. You need to be level 50 and ranked to second lieutenant in GC to buy an apartment.

With Dynamis being new, players would still get the 1 million gil even if they had created new characters on new worlds in other data centers like Materia. NA players would find it easy to get it back to their mains with data center travel. Those in other regions would have to decide if the million is worth paying $18 dollars.
The 15 days of game time is truly once per account though.

Are there any incentives to moving to the new data center aka free transfer / gil bonus / etc.????
Death Is Only The Beginning....
Nahh, i will stay on Light.
Cheers
I may move an alt that is on another server, but not my main. It will be interesting to see how quickly the worlds fill up.

I have an fc on materia and a masion I have a character on Aether I will move to the new data center and buy a house or is materia the only fc house I can have?
sagacious
People switching to the new DC for housing... should just bid on a small. When Empyreum came out, the "big winners" were actually those that just bid on the less sought after smalls. Large/Medium bidders figured they would have a chance in the future at a small. However, every personal housing plot was snatched up in round 1 (naturally). It wasn't until they opened up some more wards to personal purchases that people had a chance. And by then, it was only smalls and only a fraction of what was available week 1.
