no plans to. none of my friends are, and getting a house isnt that important so, stay where I am.

new servers take a while to get going, look at all the complaints with the Australian one, long waits etc. its nice if you actually dont mind doing stuff on your own, but if you need other people around you, takes a while to spin up to anything resembling normal queues. so, just be prepared...

This is one aspect of it that does worry me a bit, because I know the initial experience on Oceania was rough, and even now its population is very small when compared to the other DCs. This won't impact me too much because I'd like to focus on a lot of solo activities, and DC travel still exists if need be.

I'll definitely send alts to Seraph, but I'm thinking on sending my main. I don't want to miss my Behemoth properties, though, so IDK.

I am going to be sad to relinquish my home, so moving an alt instead is tempting. But I'm interested in starting up a FC so I feel like it should be my main for that.

It's something I'm considering, feel like it would be cool to help establish a new community/style on a server. It all depends on what the hype is looking like, how many people are considering jumping ship, etc.

I'll be moving on day one as I want to establish a FC as soon as possible, but I'm excited to see what it's like.

I'm headed to Seraph. I like all of the names but Seraph references enough FF aspects for me (and Scholar), so it's a good fit for me.

Definitely planning on moving but I'm surprised it's going live on Nov 1st. I thought that only the groundwork for the new servers was coming on Nov 1st and that they would actually be released next spring. Apparently not though, which is a good thing.

It's not a big deal for me to move really. I can find a new FC and for queues and other group content I can always hop back to Crystal.

I don't think the housing market there is going to be as easy as everyone seems to think though. There's definitely going to be a lot of people moving there for the same reason, and there's no doubt people out there sitting on their alt characters, flooding them with gil for the purpose of sending them over to claim as many houses as possible.
