    Impossible to set up payment

    Let me explain my current situation.

    I am in the Air Force. When I first opened my account, I was living in the US in North Carolina. I have recently been stationed in the UK. I purchased FFXIV on base (it is the North American version). I have played without any problems for about 3 weeks now (on my free trial).

    Now my problem.

    There are no options that allow me to make a payment to keep my account going. I tried using my new debit card that I received here. The billing address for this card is a PO Box address. It is a US PO Box. I get a 601 error. I figured it had something to do about the address on the card and the address on my account. I tried to change my address, but it wont accept an APO AE address. Since it was a US account, it wont let me change it to a UK address. So it seems this card wont link. I then tried to use my debit card, which is still linked to a US address (and is the same one that is on my account), but I'm still getting the BS 601 error.

    So now I guess I'm stuck with buying Crysta. Fine, this should be simple enough. Wrong. It wont accept any of my debit/credit cards as payment. I try to use paypal since everyone takes paypal. Well I get all the way through and once I hit confirm payment on the paypal site, it takes me to a blank window that wont load. I hit refresh, it flashes to a confirm page, then goes back to the Square Enix page that says my payment either went through or canceled (???). I then notice I have no Crysta, and when I check my previous orders, I have nothing listed. I tried this about 10 times. I've turned pop up blockers off, tried different web browsers. Nothing works. I then try to buy UP points, getting similar errors. I try to buy Ultimate Game Cards, same thing. Wont accept payment.

    Why the hell can't we just link a bank account up to our account and just have a direct payment set up per month. I know most players have no issues, but what about those that are serving in the military and are stationed overseas? I've spoken with customer support (which is a joke) and all I'm told is to try on another computer (duh, still wont change the fact that I'm in the UK with a US account). They aren't able to help me change my address to either the PO Box or my UK address. They tell me to try the other options, then when I tell them I have and what it does, they tell me to find someone back in the US to pay for my account. Really? That is the only option I'm left with?

    I guess Square Enix doesn't care too much about the few of us that aren't able to make payments, but have tried everything to make it. I wonder who's bright idea it was to have those ridiculous payment options?

    Most of you probably wont care about my problems and will probably start flaming. I don't care, I guess I just needed to vent.

    Edit: I just turned off UAC and tried to pay with paypal again. It finally goes through, but then I get a paypal express order could not be processed. Please try another form of payment. The problem is, it rejects every form of payment I have tried. WTF Square Enix?
