I posted a lot of similar suggestions on the alpha/beta forums but they really seemed to have gone ignored which resulted FFXIV being released in the unfinished state it is today.

Yes that must be why it is unfinished.

BTW, the things you have listed were discussed many times, those are the most obvious points an, there are probably also a zillion Blogs on this topic.
