Nice to see the UK getting the european once since they missed out on it last time due to covid.

from these dates we can get an idea of when to expect the next expansion, 2023 is clearly completely out of the question now as the last fanfest is not until early 2024, so the earliest we can realatically expect the expansion is april or may of 2024 possibly as late as summer 2024. Would be kind of annoying if we have to wait til summer but I can understand them wanting to get back to their previous schedule, we could get it as early as spring though, we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Looking forward to the Fan Festival in London and finally it's a gaming event I'd like to attend that doesn't require booking hotels etc, should be fun if I can get tickets.

And with this information it seems that 7.0 will launch even later than the original January/February prediction. With at least 3 months between the last fanfest and the launch of the expansion, it seems that they'll start releasing again in summer. At great cost.

The holiday release was due to COVID delays so Spring or Summer 2024 for 7.0 seems entirely reasonable.

Summer 2024 would be SE pushing it a bit too much. However, Spring 2024 would be preferrable to releasing an expansion just before Christmas, especially when that's usually a window for massive AAA releases also and not to mention raid releases around Christmas are just annoying (in any MMO, I hate it when WoW does it also and I wish they wouldn't).
