But you're right. Dungeon loot RNG is abysmal. Running Aglaia for the tank body piece has been a nightmare. How long has that been out and I've only seen it drop 3 times and never gotten it. I've also never seen the majority of the ShB and EW minions and orchestrion rolls that drop from dungeons either. Star Bird? Forget it.

I would rather do the Rathalos fight on the hardest difficulty 100 times in a row than deal with uncertain RNG. At least with the Rathalos fight I know I'll be getting pretty much everything eventually, as there's a token system. SE really needs to address this, but googling this up shows similar complaints that go as far back a s the game's release... so I highly doubt they'll ever fix it.

I agree that chasing RNG sucks and that adding the guaranteed drops to cap dungeons(i always liked the idea that when the new expansion came out the old one would get the guaranteed drops) is a good ideas. However, this specifically sounds like a you problem. If youre chasing a specific piece and not using a class that can roll need that is a mistake. If you were playing tank, you would have guaranteed gotten this drop the first time it showed up unless youd already taken another piece that run. If this were a leveling instance it makes a bit more sense that you might bring a class who needs the exp over the one who wants the gear/glam, but Aglaia is current cap content.
