Not really? All the Data Centers have roughly similar populations. Aether just gets overcrowded on major patches because it has the highest volume of raiders wanting to all jump on the content as soon as it drops.

I suspect they didn't relocate servers because of the immense backlash it caused last time. I don't think they expected so many people to transfer right back to their main Data Center. Balmung basically lost its entire raid scene as they all relocated back onto Aether. Put simply, people really disliked server shuffling.

I wish that they'd just add the new servers in existing DCs instead. If Aether is a mess(is it? IDK), that would fix it.

I am so ready for this new DC. I will be moving my OCE character over to it as I just can't function with extreme ping I have on OCE (400/4000 on a good day). I will miss my friend but far better to actually be able to play the character that just stand there and chat or not log it in at all.

Certainly going to hop over once transfers open, but I can't pick a server. I'm leaning to Halicarnassus (because of the Deltascape boss) but there is *no* way I'd ever learn how to spell that. I had to copy/paste it just to survive this one time.

No, we had queues with EW but so did everyone else. And when they split servers off to go to Crystal it was really unpopular. They're doing the smart thing this time by not again uprooting people from the DC they've established themselves on.

It was already bad that they introduced it without setting it up in previous expansions.
It would be way worse to introduce it for one expansion and never mentioned it again.

Horrible areas though. You people who did those @ the 75 cap were bat $hit crazy. Making relics at lvl 119 thinking "How did they do this at 75?" Props to those whom attain one pre-cap increase, but I digress.........

This video pretty much sums up what I remember about lvl 75 FFXI Dynamis. Casting sleep seemed to be the main reason for my existence as a black mage.


Dynamis is a significant concept in Endwalker, but besides the name, it seems completely unrelated to those parallel world zones in FFXI.
