New NA Data Center will be Dynamis

Gonna be honest, I dislike all of these names except Seraph. I'm sure some enjoy them, but they might genuinely be my least favorite server names among any data center so far. I definitely won't be on those servers any time soon.
Also Dynamis feels like a weird choice for a Data Center name. I'm kind of shocked they didn't consider that to be a spoiler for new players in any compacity. Imagine being new to the game and googling Dynamis. Oh boy.

I'm not going to move but I thought I might make an alt and do everything fresh just for a change of pace. I'm thinking of choosing Marilith since she's from 1 and it would fit with going back to the roots, so to speak.

Halicarnassus- An ancient Greek city, home of Dionysius.

Maduin - an esper and a temporary playable character in Final Fantasy VI.

Marilith - a fire elemental from the FF series

Seraph - an angel — a heavenly, human-like creature with wings, used by Scholars.

Good choices.

Seraph is also an Esper in FFVI and Marilith was one of the four fiends of Chaos in FFI (in the original NES version she was translated as 'Kary').

And as well as the story importance here in FFXIV in EW, Dynamis is also an area in FFXI (it was a dreamworld made by Diabolos where the Crystal War never ended, and was basically FFXI's original 'endgame'). So it's fitting to be used as the new data centre name.

You can currently transfer for free from populated servers to the new servers in Oceania & Europe. I'm pretty sure these new NA servers will fall under the same policy.

as some said in the LL, interesting grouping.<and fitting>
unlikely to move, despite the lack of deep roots.

Like some one said before. it would be ironically, unironically Delightful if Seraph did become it's RP center.

But overall I hope the DC grows it's own identity beyond what exists for all the existing ones.
