Ah yes, please show me those hundreds of week 1 logs.
I just skimmed through the logs from the 30th of August to the 6th of September that actually cleared phase 1, not P8S but just the door boss, and I have yet to find one with RPR, MCH, RDM, PLD and WAR.

Sure you get maybe 1 underperforming job like paladin in a group, but then everything else is SAM, BLM, DRG, DNC.

Even those that have paladin or warrior listed as their group's tanks, when you check the log it shows that they switched to dark knight and gunbreaker for their phase 1 clear.

Now you're just lying. For a long time some of those jobs didn't even have a P8S P1 clear.

Didn't Xeno famously have to swap off WAR to GNB for his group to clear week 1? I remember his group being stuck and then the moment he swapped off WAR his group was able to clear door boss. So it's not like week 1 groups had 0 difficulties, I know a few people that ran into similar issues and had to swap their dps or tanks to different jobs.

If I had to guess, PF is used as a representation of the game because a lot of people do content through PF. And while weaker jobs have for sure cleared the tier, this is actually the first time in recent memory that RDM has had such low numbers. It has a less than 20% use rate vs the other 2 casters on every fight except for P8S part 2. Even when it was relatively weak in Eden tier 1 it still had more representation than this tier. RDM is the most popular caster in the game and has been since it was introduced in SB, for it to have such low representation this tier it's clearly not just PF excluding the job and not people just assuming it's in a bad spot based on PF. RDM is underperforming and it just doesn't have enough ways to keep uptime on such a movement heavy tier.

I'll just say this - I've played both World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2. You better believe me when I say the Party Finder in this game is one of the MAIN REASONS why it's currently so successful.

They nerfed p8s for a reason, its because jobs were underperforming to the point they were hard locked out.

I have been told for the last 6 weeks by seemingly people who cleared that there can never ever ever be balance issues if a single team of players managed to clear the fight on week 1 using nay particular job no matter how undertuned it is.

It's a bit telling that of everyone who responded to your post, you picked mine which did little but laugh at such an absurd, unbacked claim as you had.

Also, I don't know who told you any of that nonsense, because it wasn't me. DRK was on the world first team that cleared UCoB but it was well documented and recognized that DRK needed help still.
